Tenstorrent AI Use Policy

Effective: October 09, 2026

This AI Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to a Customer’s use of Tenstorrent’s Cloud Services and Models and describes Tenstorrent’s policies and guidelines for the responsible use of these services. Capitalized terms have the meaning stated in the Tenstorrent Cloud Services Agreement or the applicable agreement between Tenstorrent and Customer.

Customer agrees not to, and not to facilitate or allow any third parties to, use the Models and LLM Services:

  • beyond published parameters, rate limits, or use limitations, including by registering multiple accounts or orchestrating usage between multiple organizations;
  • for any illegal, offensive, invasive, discriminatory, dangerous, harmful, infringing, defamatory, or fraudulent purpose;
  • for any misrepresentation, misinformation, disinformation, or any misleading or deceptive activities;
  • to violate or encourage violation of the legal rights of others, including privacy or intellectual property rights;
  • for child sexual abuse or exploitation, violence, violent extremism or terrorism, hate speech, harassment, or non-consensual intimate imagery or sexually explicit content that is illegal;
  • to gain unauthorized access to, attack, abuse, interfere with, intercept, disrupt, or exploit any users, systems, or services, including any offensive cyber operations or automated vulnerability discovery and exploitation;
  • to harass, harm, or encourage the harm of individuals or specific groups;
  • to create, receive, maintain, transmit, store, or process Protected Health Information or to otherwise provide medical advice and medical results interpretation;
  • to make automated decisions that have a material detrimental impact on individual rights without human supervision in high-risk domains, such as in employment, healthcare, finance, legal, housing, insurance, or social welfare;
  • to perform a lethal function in a weapon without human authorization or control;
  • for phishing, generating, or distributing malware such as viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or spyware or other items of a destructive or deceptive nature;
  • to perform safety-critical, mission-critical, or other high integrity applications in which failure of the Cloud Services or Models could reasonably be expected to result in death, personal injury or severe physical or environmental damages;
  • to generate, distribute, publish, or facilitate unsolicited mass email, promotions, advertisements, or other solicitations;
  • in a manner that burdens, disables, impairs, or interferes with the Cloud Services or Models or the equipment used to provide the Cloud Services or Models; or
  • to intentionally circumvent any aspect of the Cloud Services or Models, including abuse protections or safety mechanisms, if any, or to prompt models to act in a manner that violates our policies, this AUP, or the Tenstorrent Cloud Services Agreement.

Customers who have implemented adequate safeguards and require additional flexibility for lawful business or research purposes, may contact Tenstorrent to request an exception. If Tenstorrent makes an exception to these policies in a particular case, such action does not obligate Tenstorrent to make an exception to these policies in any other similar or unrelated cases.

Customer agrees to provide information about intended uses of the Cloud Services and Models and compliance with this policy upon request from Tenstorrent. Tenstorrent may investigate and enforce any suspected violation of this policy.

Customer and its Authorized Users are responsible for all decisions made, advice given, actions taken, and failures to act based on the use of the Cloud Services and Models. Models use artificial intelligence and machine learning models that generate outputs, which may be inaccurate. Outputs should be evaluated for accuracy and appropriateness. If you use the Models to make consequential decisions, you must evaluate the potential risks of your use case and implement appropriate human oversight, testing, and other use case-specific safeguards to mitigate such risks. Customer is responsible for compliance with any laws, rules, and regulations applicable to its use of the Cloud Services and Models, including laws specific to artificial intelligence such as the EU AI Act.

To report any violation of this policy, please send an email to legal@tenstorrent.com.
